Recovery Support Coordination (RSC)

RSC is a program of Milwaukee County’s Behavioral Health Division (BHD), Community Access to Recovery Services (CARS) network. RSC is open to Milwaukee County residents, age 18 and older with a substance use or co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.

RSC is a strengths-based case management model that assists clients with substance use or co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions to establish their own path to recovery. RSCs case managers assist clients to create an individualized recovery plan of care.  During weekly meetings, RSCs assist with service planning and coordination to help clients meet the goals in their recovery plan.  The first step to be considered for RSC services is an Access Point referral which will determine a client’s need for recovery services and the level of care needed.
