COPE Line Assistant

The COPE Line Assistant will provide mental health support and crisis intervention to individuals calling the COPE Line, and to assist with volunteer support and development. The COPE Line Assistant will provide line coverage and support; create and ensure accurate and complete call documentation; engage in regular review of calls and provide feedback to volunteers; help improve outcomes for callers; assist in training and coaching of volunteers including the updates to training materials; participate in community events promoting Sirona Recovery and the COPE Line.

 

Competencies:

  • Knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel; and skills in accurate data entry using web-enabled databases
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to be flexible
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree, in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field
  • Pre-employment background check
Salary:
$15.50-$17.50 hourly
